DO YOU TRAVEL?
Yes, I love to travel and am available for shoots anywhere in South Africa and abroad, contact me for more information.
DO YOU HAVE A BACK-UP CAMERA ?
Yes I always have back-up gear regardless of the type of shoot I am doing.
DO YOU USE LIGHTS / FLASH?
The only time I will resort to flash is during your reception, should it be required. I have a deep love for natural light and prefer using the surrounding light on the day and during the time of my shoot.
WE DON’T LIKE TO POSE!
PERFECT!!! I prefer capturing real moments and am sure you will also feel way more comfortable just being your beautiful self’s than pretending to be a model. I will give you some guidelines but the magic captured is purely between the two of you!!
DO YOU WORK WITH AN ASSISTANT ?
Yes, an assistant | second photographer is included in some packages so please make sure you book dinner for both of us. It’s best to seat us with your guests (where possible) where we can see and hear the action so we don’t miss out on any great moments.
HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS DO WE GET?
You will have Trudy and her assistant | second photographer for the full day on some packages. Trudy will be the only photographer for the engagement, boudoir and portrait shoot packages, unless otherwise arranged.
HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING?
Contact me for pricing and I will then send you a quotation. Once you decided you want to book me and the 50% booking fee was received, you’re booked.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE BEFORE I GET MY IMAGES?
Between 6-9 weeks , in peak season it might take up to 12 weeks for a wedding to be delivered due to being busy season and if we are custom designing a album for you, it might take even longer.
WHAT DIFFERENT TYPES OF PHOTOGRAPHY DO YOU DO?
Although I specialise in Weddings, Boudoir and Portraiture, I am open to suggestions should you need something different that suits my style.
CAN I HAVE THE RAW IMAGE FILES?
DO YOU WORK OVERTIME?
Of course, no wedding is the same, additional time will be invoiced for after the wedding at the standard hourly rate.
WHAT ADVISE WOULD YOU GIVE ME TO ENSURE I GET BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS ON MY WEDDING DAY?
Be yourself!!! enjoy your day, regardless of what type of shoot you are doing or if it’s your wedding day!!
Be relaxed and have lots of fun! the day goes by so quickly and before you know it, it is over.
The most important bit of advice I could give anybody would be to trust your photographer.
For your reception, please ensure there is enough light during the speeches etc. candles are pretty but not enough! The more light you have, the better your photos will be.
