Carmen & Marco Rabbiosi

If life is a question mark,

Then you my love,

are the proud and bold period.

That is typed with certainty.

(Tyler Knott Gregson / Typewriter series 1 )

These word were part of Carmen and Marco’s wedding reading and I believe that they are what every love story should be. I had no idea what to expect since Carmen arranged everything while home in Frankfurt, Germany and I haven’t met her till the big day, but was I in for an awesome surprise!!! A true international love story!!! Marco is half Italian and half German, he was born in Kenya and moved to Cape Town and that is where he met his bride to be.Both of them loves travelling and he proposed to Carmen in Corfu, Greece, she also has a stunning travelblog that you should definitely go and have a look at. A beautiful bride, handsome groom with the craziest bridesmaids!! and to top it all they got married at the stunning South Hill in Elgin where the owners, Sandy & Derek are two of the most amazing people you will ever meet. In typical Cape Town style we had four seasons in one day and the ceremony had to be moved inside due to strong winds but that didn’t make any difference to them. They had a beautiful and intimate noon wedding with lots of laughter and lots of happy tears. There were so many special details, like the dreamcatchers that were made with doilies that belonged to Carmen’s late granny and the heart shaped confetti holders, made from pages of short stories and woven by her aunt. Stunning Cape fynbos finished off the decor in soft colours of spring pastels. I absolutely loved spending a few hours with you and your special people and I wish you many years of travelling the wold together , loving one another.
